His sire, Aganix du Seigneur, comes from the Gute Sitte line, which won a team bronze medal at the Montreal Olympic Games. From his early generations, Aganix has produced performers that have competed at the highest level, such as Agana van het Gerendal Z, Agadance van ‘t Gelutt Z, Kinmar Agalux, Athletix Hero Z, and Akarad Hero Z.

Akteur is from the exceptional lineage of Contendro (four years in a row crowned the number one sire of eventing horses worldwide), as well as the legendary Zangersheide stallion Caretano Z, who unfortunately passed away too soon, and the Grand Prix horse Casello. Akteur is a full brother to the award-winning Oldenburg stallion, Quabri Charmeur.
